Holy Spirit, our shield against frustration and diversion.
Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. He empowers us to act according to the mind of God.
John 4:24 – God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. In other words, we must have Holy Spirit nature to be able to communicate with Him.
It is therefore our level of spirituality that determines our ability to operate in the same frequence with Holy Spirit.
The question that can be asked: Why to be in harmony with the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the one who is not in harmony with God can be considered like someone who is working for a company X but expects to get his salary from company Y.
Consequences of that is: frustration and diversion.
Diversion is the fact of not knowing exactly what you want exactly for your life and that pushes you to take several paths with the probable result frustration.
God declares in Jeremiah, 29:11 – “For I know the plans which I have made concerning you, saith the LORD, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and hope.”
When we pray to God we remind him of what he has already done in the Bible, to remind him that he can do it in our lives because He remains the same, yesterday, today and forever.
Joshua 1: 8 – Let not this book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate day and night, to act faithfully according to all that is written there; because it is then that you will have success in your companies, it is then that you will succeed.
God’s word contains the Spirit of God. Reason why when the word of God penetrates our inner man, the Holy Spirit can give answers to our questions.
Very often we are frustrated because we do not get or we do not necessarily have what we would like to have from God at a specific moment. Very often it happens that we are simply frustrated for things that are completely outside of God’s plan for our life.
John 16:13 – When the Comforter is come, the Spirit of truth, he will lead you into all truth; for he will not speak of himself, but he will say all that he hears, and he will tell you things to come.
Through this scripture we understand that among the attributes of the Holy Spirit, there is Direction. To experience divine direction one must first be a person driven by the spirit and deeply desire it.
But we are guided only if we ask !
Matthew 7:11 – If you then, wicked as you are, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who do them ask him
The word of God is the truth that leads us, behind every word of God, there is His spirit at work. This is why no portion of the scriptures should be taken lightly.
The one who is led by God avoids frustration which is often caused by personal and carnal ambitions.
On every aspect of our life, God has a specific plan that He has reserved for us, and the Holy Spirit through meditation of God’s word is there to reveal to us the way that God has made so that we avoid to fall into frustration caused by diversion.
How can the Holy Spirit lead us?
– through a strong conviction based on God’s word;
– by a supernatural supply without effort;
– by prayer.
