How to bring God’s shower of blessings into my life

Some truths to know about the rain.

Rain is defined as a natural process by which drops of water fall from the clouds to the ground.

  • The rain comes to put an end to all forms of dryness

When the rain falls, all earth, all space hit by dryness comes back to life because of the water, the vegetation comes back to life, the greenery takes place where everything had wilted

  • The rain allows the refreshment of the air

The rain brings freshness, the pollution caused by the dust is wiped out by the rainwater

  • Rain cleans up dirt

When the rain falls, all dirt on the paving stones is cleaned naturally…

From all of the above, we understand that rain is the source of life, the absence of rain causes uncertainty and starvation.

God declares in Ezekiel 34: 20-26

… 25 I will make with them a covenant of peace, and I will make the wild animals disappear from the land; they will live in safety in the desert, and will sleep in the middle of the forests. 26 I will make them and around my hill a blessing; I will send the rain in due time, and it will be a rain of blessing.

By this, we understand that God is the one who is able to rain a rain of blessing in our life.

The question we can now ask ourselves is how must we do to provoke this shower of blessing?

Before that, let’s briefly see the physical process of triggering rain.

Clouds are formed by water that comes from the evaporation of moisture that exists in nature and more particularly large water spaces (like lakes, seas, oceans, rivers). This water vapor mixes with the air mass. When the air rises due to the movements of the atmosphere, it cools by relaxation and then follows the triggering of the fall of the water drops.

Analysis of the physical process of the formation of rain clearly shows us that the physical manifestation of rain is not a coincidence, it is the product of a precise prior process. (Read the next post’s part after this illustration picture)

So to hope to see depart from our life:

  • Any form of dryness
  • Any form of heat
  • Any form of stagnation
  • Any form of sterility
  • Any form of dirt

There are things we have to do, there is an attitude we have to take in order to get God to bring the shower of blessing into our lives.

  • We must decide to really give our life to Jesus Christ.

Indeed, he who is in Christ is qualified to experience new things in his life, things that only happen after the rain, things that the dryness of sin and darkness can in no way give us. This article talks in detail about the intelligence renewal process.

2 Corinthians 5:17

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

  • We must decide to serve God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind.

He who loves God really serves him selflessly. One cannot pretend to love God without committing to his service. The one who serves God with love triggers the rise of vapors to the sky, which will trigger his rain of blessing. This book we have written in french can help you understand in detail the importance of serving God. In this book we also talk about the prevailing urgency and the need for men and women to get up right away in order to end it.

Matthew 22: 36-37

Master, what is the greatest commandment of the law? 37Jesus answered him, You will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

  • We must remain grateful to God

When the rain falls, it causes the growth process of the vegetation.

A corn seed can never grow on its own without water. So when the rain comes, it causes multiplication to the point of transforming a corn seed into a corn field.

So it is with our thanksgiving to God. Our gratitude triggers the process of the fall of the rain which multiplies our seeds. Those who are grateful to God are qualified to experience honor and breakthrough in their activities.

Jeremiah 30:19

From among them will rise thanksgiving and cries of rejoicing; I will increase them, and they will not decrease; I will honor them, and they will not be despised.

  • We must remain in God’s presence

A single rain is not enough in itself to guarantee the good health of plants during an entire agricultural season. It is the succession of rains that guarantees a good harvest. It is the same for our Christian walk. Once we have experienced the rain of blessing, this should not cause us to move away from the presence of God, on the contrary we must remain there in order to guarantee the harvest of ripe fruits in our lives. This article describes in detail the importance of remaining in the presence of God.

Psalm 91:1-3

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
